Finding something truly amazing and appreciated. really all you need with a mouse in the same class

FIRST OF ALL: This design is FANTASTIC and truly UNIQUE because Redragon cleverly includes the ten keypad and function keys while taking up the least possible area on your desk. Do not be deceived by jealous critics who claim the keys are too small too use because they are standard keycaps, the same size keycaps as on other keyboards with the exception of the right hand shift key which is smaller. The rest of the keys are full size, including the number pad. I have been looking around and no other company makes this excellent design which is extremely practical for office use by allowing you to use the number keypad while freeing up your desk space.

Keycaps: Good quality and they look great in daytime or with RGB turned off. There are no extra keycaps included and you only have 1 configuration whereas on the non-pro Pollux you would get an extra set of keycaps that allows reconfiguring the colors.

RGB: Very dim even on highest brightness setting (FN + Up Arrow five times). My other keyboard, the wired Pollux (not pro) is has much brighter RGB out of the box due to how the keycaps are built. Also the red keys tint the RGB to reddish hue which further dims the lights. The LEDs inside the keyboard are fine so you can get a brighter RGB effect by, for example, buying the Redragon X LTC (pudding keycaps) and switching them on your keyboard. The keycaps are standard size and the Redragon keycaps had the smaller shift key this type of keyboard requires. In my attached photo I have the RGB to the brightest setting without animation, sitting at a dimly-lit office.

Another note about RGB: When in wireless mode, the LEDs automatically turn off after about 3 minutes of inactivity.

Connectivity: It is easy to connect wired, through Bluetooth (without a dongle), or with the included dongle. You have two Bluetooth (BT) options: 5.0 which is more modern and battery saving or 3.0 for older phones or devices. You can store 3 different Bluetooth connections and switch between them.

Battery: It is very efficient. I have been using my keyboard alternating between BT 5.0 (with my phone) and 2.4Ghz dongle (PC) with the lights at full brightness and in 2 days of using it full time for work I am barely down to 60% battery. There is no way to check battery level on the keyboard itself and you cannot see it in your work PC if your employer has blocked installing the Redragon Pro app. You can still view your battery level by connecting your keyboard to your phone.

Switches: It comes with factory-installed red switches which are very smooth, non-clicky and non-tactile. However, the keyboard is not silent as it has noticeable but not loud clacking. I already swapped the switches and it is very easy to do with the tools included. Welcome to the rabbit hole of fully customizing your keeb (˵ ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°˵)

So, I've been using the keyboard on a daily basis for about a month now. The red switches feel absolutely amazing and I type away like a crazy man on them!

But I did have to get used to a few things. I never owned a 75% keyboard before, so I really had to train myself on hitting the FN key combinations properly.
In that respect it's a bit of a shame that the special functions are not backlit on the keys. I found out I use DELETE an awful lot, while also having the Numlock on, and not seeing it appear on the comma key when working in slightly less lit situations took me a while to learn.

However, now that I know where each special function is hidden, I can use the keyboard absolutely fine. The colors dancing under the keys look really cool and it also just looks great with the black-red-white color scheme.
